I we went to see Mr Holmes regarding pleating in my neck and from the side view it looked really awful. Mr Holmes explained in great detail on how to make the pleats disappear and I felt totally at ease with Mr Holmes from first seeing him until completion of surgery. I am more than happy with the the final results and cannot believe how good the surgery has turned out. I would recommend Mr Holmes to anyone Private Patient

I have recently had implant removal and an uplift done by Mr Holmes at Methley Park Hospital,my treatment from start to finish was wonderful,fantastic surgeon and brilliant staff,nothing was too much trouble and they were always at the end of the phone if needed, I couldn’t recommend them highly enough, I feel marvellous and wish I had done it sooner.

After losing a considerable amount of weight, approximately 30 kilos, I was left with loose hanging skin or apron belly as it's known. This made me feel uncomfortable and completely spoilt my appearance. At times I would wonder why I bothered losing the weight. I decided that the only answer was a tummy tuck and this led me to Mr Holmes at Methley Park. Mr Holmes is a caring and patient doctor and, best of all, he is a skilful surgeon who achieved an excellent result for me. I really couldn't be more pleased and I feel it has totally changed my life. The procedure was explained to me clearly beforehand and I had every opportunity to ask Mr Holmes questions. Methley is a great little hospital with lovely staff. The anaesthetist was excellent and arranged for me to have spinal anaesthetic for medical reasons. After one night stay in hospital I was able to go home. I have made a full recovery without any problems. However, Mr Holmes is still available to me should I have any queries. I highly recommend this very nice surgeon and cannot thank him enough.

If you are looking for a plastic surgeon, then I think you will struggle to find anyone better than Mr Holmes. I had issues with my under-eye bags. I am only in my early 40’s and they made me look tired, created shadows under my eyes and aged me prematurely. I knew they would only get worse as I got older so I went to see Mr Holmes after doing some research and reading the excellent reviews from other patients. Mr Holmes put me at ease, explained the process fully and gave me realistic expectations of what the results were likely to be. This was followed up with a detailed letter of advice and, along with his website, you have access to a lot of information to help you make an informed decision. The ethos is definitely one of care and at no point do you feel that you are on the receiving end of a sales pitch. The surgery itself went really well. The team at Methley Park were superb and went that extra step to make me feel comfortable. The anaesthetist, Rama, was excellent and I had no ill effects from the anaesthetic at all. I recovered well (the bruising was probably better than I expected) and I have had no issues whatsoever. I felt listened to, reassured and safe at all times. It’s a big thing to put your trust in someone to make changes to your body and to your appearance, especially your eyes (the ‘Jackie O’ sunglasses have to come off at some point!) but with Mr Holmes you are getting a first-class surgeon who provides you with honest advice and who carries out the surgery in an extremely safe setting. He is personable, approachable, and clearly very talented. I am so happy with the results. My eye bags are gone, you can’t see any scars (the stitches were so neat) and I look and feel like ‘me’ again. The overall result is natural – apart from the fact that my eye bags have vanished you wouldn’t be able to tell I have had surgery. Thank you, Mr Holmes, you have been brilliant, and I would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone else considering surgery.

A big thank you to Mr Holmes & his team for a very successful upper & lower eye lid operation. The skin around my eyes was thin & wrinkly and was aging me so having given it much thought, I took the plunge to operate. Having had a consultation with Mr Holmes, I was told my operation may take a full 3 months or more to fully recover due to the amount of loose skin, it took 4 months but the result is amazing. I did have complications with blistering, bloodshot & particularly dry eyes, which caused me concern but advice & an unscheduled visit to Mr Holmes was successful in continuing my journey. Overall, it's taken 10 years off me & I am so happy I took the plunge.
